We're thrilled to release the Terms & Conditions Designer!

Despite teaching instrumental music for almost 20 years, writing a terms and conditions document was always a daunting task. When I first started teaching, it wasn't even something I knew I needed. As I became more experienced, I was always afraid I would get something wrong. With Pocket Tutor's Terms & Conditions Designer, any tutor can design their own terms and conditions simply by filling in a form with some very straight-forward questions on it. We turn the answers to this form into an easy to read document and send this to the tutors' students. If the tutor updates their answers, we'll update the student automatically.

This is an important step forward in making private tuition a viable, long-term career path. Particularly, but not exclusively, for young tutors that can typically be taken advantage of due to their lack of experience. Having this document is an important part of ensuring transparency between a tutor and their students. I wish I had this when I was at uni. I had students cancelling on me a lot, often on the day of their lesson, and I didn't ever charge those students because I didn't think I could.

We hope the Terms & Conditions Designer helps both tutors and students to understand what is acceptable, and to provide transparency for all parties.
